STUDENT'S CODE OF CONDUCT

Attendance Policy

  • It is compulsory for all the students to maintain at least 75% attendance in an academic session to be eligible to appear for the examination. In case attendance is short, the student is not entitled to take the exam and would be debarred from promotion.
  • The student must get the leave sanctioned from the class teacher well in advance. For more than three days leave, he/she should bring a medical certificate from their doctor on re-joining the School.
  • Repeated absence without leave or unexplained absence for more than ten consecutive days will amount to the name struck off from the attendance register.
  • Students must attend the school on the day after and before any vacation respectively. Those absent can be detained from the periodic tests.
  • Appreciation certificates will be awarded to the students for maintaining 100% attendance throughout the academic session.  

Discipline

  • Students must be respectful to their school mates and the members of staff.
  • During school hours, student are expected to communicate in English only. They are strictly forbidden to use filthy language while talking to one another.
  • Students must not indulge in any act that may tarnish the image of the school.
  • Students must keep the school campus clean.
  • The school reserves the right to suspend a student whose conduct has an adverse influence on other students.  

Prohibited Items for School

The following items which may be harmful or cause distraction should not be brought to the school:

  • Any Potential Weapon
  • Drug and drug related items (unless medically prescribed with proof provided)
  • Untoward pictures, books, magazines etc.
  • Jewellery & Accessories
  • Firecrackers, lighter or matchbox
  • Chewing Gum
  • Mobile phone, CD, I-Pod, Pen-Drive, Tablet, laptop etc.
  • Blade, Cutter, Knife etc.
  • Soft drinks / Aerated drinks 

TRANSPORT FACILITY

“Discipline is bridge between goals and accomplishments.”

Transport facility is available for all the students from Nursery to Class XII. Following are the code of conduct for one and all. Any student, if found guilty, is liable to be debarred from commuting by the school bus.

1. Observe discipline in the bus.

2. Do not run to board the bus but walk in a queue.

3. Do not board or alight from a moving bus, for it is dangerous.

4. Do not scramble when you board or alight from the bus.

5. Do not stretch your head or any body part out of the bus.

6. Co-operate with the staff on duty and abide by the instructions given by them from time to time.

7. Students are expected to be at pick up/drop points with their escorts five minutes prior to arrival time of the bus.

8. The buses will not wait for late comers.

9. Buses will drop the students at their mentioned stops only. In case of any change or emergency, parents are requested to take permission in writing in advance.

10. Throwing wrappers, peels, shells etc. out of window is strictly prohibited.

11. Children should stand about ten feet away from the main road until the bus arrives.

12. Students should refrain from leaving their seats unless the bus comes to a halt.

13. Students should not use profane or indecent language in the bus or elsewhere.

14. Driver's attention must not be distracted for any reason.

15. Students will be held responsible for any damage to buses caused by negligence or vandalism.
